Unglazed terracotta ceramic Saucer

Characteristic:

The unglazed clay Saucer is a 100% natural, eco-friendly addition to traditional ceramic pots.

High Porosity: Because the clay is not coated with a glaze (enamel), the saucer “breathes” with the pot and allows air to pass through.
Moisture Absorption: Unglazed clay tends to absorb water slowly. Important: If the plant is placed indoors on a wooden countertop or delicate windowsill, water sitting in the saucer for a long time may slowly seep through to the bottom and damage the piece.
Bottom Watering: Ideal for plants that prefer to absorb water by percolation.
Aesthetics: Over time, a natural whitish or greenish coating (a deposit from mineral salts in the water and moss) may appear on the surface of unglazed clay, giving it the rustic, vintage, or Mediterranean style that many people desire.

Slight differences between the each items is result from the fact that they are handmade.

All products are new and unused. However, unglazed ceramics tend to collect dust easily (this is especially noticeable on white clay produkts).
