An organic product created during processing coconut shells. Chips are characterized by high air and water capacity.
They decompose very slowly, maintaining properties for several years.
Perfect for Paphiopedillum, Cymbidium and as an addition to other substrates.
Coconut substrates are popular mainly in terraristics, because they provide optimal conditions in breeding amphibians, reptiles and insects in both dry and wet terraries, as they provide adequate air-water conditions.
In addition, they are also perfect for tropical plants. The porous structure of coconut flakes absorbs moisture very well. Mocked fibers cause gradual release of steam.
Coconut substrates are also intended as a natural hygiene gravel for other pets – cats, ferrets and rodents
