The orchiata is made of 100% Californian pine bark (Pinus radiata), in a special technology that maintains water and nutrients in the outer layers of the bark, destroying soil pathogens and, at the same time, leaving beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi.
Orchiata is used all over the world for the production of orchids by professional growers and hobbyists.
The Orchiata substrate is perfectly preserved and retains moisture.
It does not rot and decompose for a very long time. It allows enough air to pass to the roots so that the plant “breathes”.
