This medium is widely used by many orchid growers.

*The bark is a natural product. The debarking and sorting are done automatically (not manually), so it’s normal to see small pieces of wood (it’s also pine wood, from the same tree as the bark, so it’s not trash) and a small amount of dust (which will easily wash out with the first watering).

The bark is not dried, so before storing for a longer period, it’s a good idea to open the bags to allow excess moisture to evaporate.
