Characteristic:
Vermiculite is a mineral, hydrated magnesium aluminosilm, with a very variable and complicated chemical composition. It crystallizes in a single -sided system, usually in the form of tin -shaped clusters, crystals or tiles. It is golden. It is the effect of ventilation of MIK (flogopit, i.e. brown mica, or biotite, or black mica). Contains compounds of magnesium, iron, aluminum, oxygen and hydrogen. It is extracted mainly in the USA, Africa, Australia and Asia. In Poland, it occurs in Lower Silesia, but these are not suitable for operation.
A characteristic feature of vermiculite is even a 20-fold increase in volume during high-temperature processing, in this process, an expanded vermiculite is created, in the form of swelling harmonies. Vermiculite in the exfolished (extended, expanded) form is lightweight, non -flammable, compressible, very absorbent, perfectly insulates the sound and warmth, is non -flammable, unreactive, has the unique ability to store and give moisture. It is also completely safe for both people and the environment. A very wide temperature range at which it can be used (from – 260 to 1200 ° C) makes it have a lot of applications.
Vermiculite is sterile, odorless, non -toxic, durable, does not occur with mold.
It has a pH of 7.0-9.5, due to the presence of carbonate compounds, there is a reaction as in the case of the rules.
Vermiculite has the ability to exchange cations, thanks to which it can stop and provide the plant with the needed potassium, ammon, calcium and magnesium.
It is extremely light and easy to use.

Gardening
as an addition to multi-component substrates, improving water-air relations,
to improve the structure of light (sandy) and heavy (clay and clays),
as a accelerator of germination and plant growth,
as an additive that increases soil aeration and humidity,
as an addition actively stimulating the growth of the root system and the entire plant,
as an additive that reduces soil acidity,
as an addition extending the operation of fertilizers, which allows you to reduce their number,
as an additive that reduces the risk of rotting root,
as a carrier of cations,
as a substrate for mycelium,
for storing floral bulbs.
Agriculture and animal breeding
for storing agricultural produce (they are in good condition up to 30 % longer),
as an addition to litter in broils and hells (reduces the content of bacteria, fungi, gases and moisture) – used litter can be used for fertilization,
as an addition to feed (carrier of vitamins and minerals),
as an ingredient in the foundations and breeding lining.
Terraristics, aquaristics and water eyes
as a material forming a natural bottom,
as a sterile background of animals that do not cover drying, i.e. invertebrates, amphibians and reptiles,
as a substrate for incubation of the eggs of these animals,
As a substrate in plant aquariums (it keeps plants in the right position, strengthens their rooting and accelerates growth) – before creating a layer in the aquarium, vermiculite should be soaked in water for several days to remove air from it.
