The substrate for epiphytic orchids Extra Big is a balanced mixture of the best ingredients.

Extra Big medium with large pieces of Mediterranean bark, allows the air movement necessary for the development of roots, which will provide them with greater health and longer and more abundant flowering.

It is recommended for growing orchids with large roots, including Phalaenopsis, Cattleya and Vanda.

Organic components: Selected pine bark.

*The bark used in this substrate is a natural product. The debarking and sorting are done automatically (not manually), so it’s normal to see small pieces of wood (it’s also pine wood, from the same tree as the bark; it’s not trash) and a small amount of dust (which will easily wash out with the first watering).

The bark is not dried, so it’s a good idea to open the bags before storing for a longer period of time to allow excess moisture to evaporate.
