Aglaonema modestum Schott (peloric)

Aglaonema modestum, called Chinese evergreen, green-for-ten-thousand-years, and lily of China, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Aglaonema, native to Bangladesh, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and southeast and south-central China. In these areas, it is found in tropical swamps and rainforests

Position: bright without direct sunlight. However, too much shading means that the leaves are not so intensely pink

Temperature: 24-27ºC. It is a hot growing plant that reacts badly to cold.

Care: Aglaonems don't like too much water which can contribute to root rot. For this reason, you should always drain the remaining water from the tray so that the environment in which the plant grows is not too humid.
